Info pack on Church work with Abuse in Care Royal Commission
Te Rōpū Tautoko, the Church group coordinating Catholic engagement with the Royal Commission on Abuse in Care, has produced an Information Pack about its work. It is issued ahead of the imminent publication of the commission’s report on Redress for abuse.
Tautoko says: ”While much of the engagement has taken place by those directly involved behind the scenes, this work involves all areas and people in the Church. It is part of a much bigger picture of transforming our Church into a safe and welcoming place for all.
“As part of this resource you’ll see that Tautoko has published a Roadmap of actions that cover all areas of change and shows the progress of work and implementation. We invite you to use the useful resources in this information pack and share it amongst your networks.”
