Mass can be celebrated again with no limits on numbers
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of Monday 8 June that New Zealand has moved to Covid-19 Alert Level 1, Mass – and other Church events such as weddings, funerals and baptisms – can again take place with no restrictions on the number of people attending.
On 26 May, when a limited celebration of Mass became possible, your bishops issued a Pastoral Letter and a letter to parish leadership. The Pastoral Letter can be read here in PDF format.
